What is the role of NF-κB in early mammalian development? How are early cell fate decisions modulated by the abundance and the dynamics of NF-κB? 

 

If NF-κB is critical for early embryonic patterning in species such as Drosophila, Xenopus, and Zebrafish, why is so little known about it during early mammalian development? My PhD project â€‹wants to understand understand this. I'm using mouse embryonic stem cells (mESCs) and a combination of immunofluorescence, bulk-cell techniques, and live cell imaging answer these questions.
